When To Replace

When To Replace

There are cases in which an existing roof is too far degraded to work well with a coating restoration, and in those cases, the only viable option is a roof replacement.

As a rule of thumb, if 25% or more of the roof is damaged it's best to replace the whole system. Since a replacement means the entire system is being removed or overlaid, you can update your roofing system to new materials or processes. Some options include: Metal, Built-up, Modified Bitumen, Spray Polyurethane Foam, EPDM or TPO membranes.
